
Fostering Strategic Partnerships for Sustainable Development
On Monday, 13th January 2025, Kakamega County Investment and Development Agency (KCIDA) hosted a high-level delegation from KCB Bank Group, led by Regional Head of Compliance and Service Delivery Amos Kimutai and County Branch Manager Judy Nekoye . The discussions focused on strengthening public-private partnerships to drive sustainable investments and community growth in Kakamega County in line with H.E FCPA Fernandes Barasa OGW Agenda on wealth creation for sustainable development.
The Deputy County Secretary and Ag Chief Officer, Economic Planning and Investments, CPA Samson Otieno,who led the KCIDA Team emphasized the critical role of private sector collaboration in addressing the resource gaps in the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP). KCIDA CEO Elizabeth Asichi highlighted key bankable investment opportunities in renewable energy, agribusiness, and affordable housing, expressing gratitude for KCBâs ongoing support, including sponsoring the Governorâs Cup and KAIICO 2024.
Mr. Kimutai reaffirmed KCBâs commitment to Governor Barasaâs development agenda, aligning with the bankâs mission to support impactful community initiatives. The delegation also paid a courtesy call on Deputy Governor Hon. Ayub Savula, pledging continued support for transformative county projects.
